A Remnant Shall Return - Chapter Two - Ezra's Eagle

The following is an extract from the second chapter of A Remnant Shall Return, titled Ezra’s Eagle.

I awoke one beautiful morning in 2015, with the unmistakable impression that I needed to reread the Second Book of Esdras chapters 11 and 12.  You may not be familiar with this book today, but it was carried across the Atlantic Ocean in the Bibles of the Pilgrims, as they sought for, and obtained, a land of religious tolerance.  It was then carted again, literally, across the plains in the wagons and handcarts of the Latter-day Saints as the religious tolerance of the United States of America waxed cold, and new lands of liberty were sought.  These two particular chapters speak of this land - the United States.

The reason you may not have heard of the Second Book of Esdras before is because the Church of England removed it from the King James version of the Bible just before the turn of the 20th century. As a result, it was lost from collective memory.  The Doctrine and Covenants speaks of this book. The Bible Dictionary refers to it as a book of "special value". As such, I read them, along with the entire Apocrypha, but I did not fully understand their significance at the time. This all change in 2015 when I revisited them as a result of my prompting.

I had recently finished my first draft of A Remnant Shall Return, and was pondering upon the events of the latter days and the incredible promises that the Lord has made, with regards to the restoration of the entire House of Israel.  The prompting I received told me that Ezra's vision (Esdras is Greek for Ezra) was related to the subject matter of my book. Therefore, with great interest, I packed up my things and drove to the public library.  What happened next was truly remarkable. 

As I read Ezra's 2,600 year old vision, the Lord caused his words to come to life within my mind. Things I had read before, but not understood, suddenly unfolded in my mind’s eye as clearly as the mountains outside the library’s windows. I was unprepared for it. It shocked me to my core. I felt like Lehi must have felt when he was asked to read a book regarding Jerusalem’s pending destruction.  

I began to tremble uncontrollably. I remember looking up from the pages to glance around the room, somehow expecting to see everyone else feeling the same sense of alarm and surprise as I was experiencing. Nobody seemed to notice. They continued as they were, oblivious to the mind-altering event that had just transpired within me.  It was an overwhelming experience.

I came to realize that the signs and wonders of the last days are not randomly strung together like beads on a bracelet. There is an amazing order and reason to the events that will transpire in the last days.  If you would understand the last days, you need to understand the context of these singular events. Without this underlying context it is impossible to see the bigger picture.  After all, many of the signs of the times are not unique to our day.   

The Saints that lived during the World Wars were checking the "Second Coming boxes" right and left.  As such, they thought the Lord's coming was imminent: wars and rumors of wars - check. Vapors of darkness - check. Elements melting with fervent heat - check. Moon turning to blood - check.  Persecution of the Jews - check.  But the Second Coming is not about checking boxes, it is about context!  What then is the proper context for interpreting the signs of the last days? 

Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee. When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the lot of His inheritance. (Duet 32:7-9)

The context of the second coming of Jesus Christ is the restoration and salvation of the House of Israel. If you do not understand the covenants and promises that the Lord has made pertaining to the House of Israel, you do not understand the events of the last days!  It is not about solar eclipses or signs and wonders, its about the House of Israel!

The gathering of scattered Israel has been an ongoing process since the Pilgrims landed in America, but the restoration of the House of Israel will be an event that will rival the exodus of Egypt in its wonder and majesty! Yet, the restoration of Israel isn't even a box on most people's checklists. As such, the most significant events of the last days will sneak up on the world like a thief in the night. 

The events which I have coined - Ezra's Eagle - describe the actions of a secret combination that will seek to usurp the government of the United States of America.  According to Ezra's Eagle, this prophecy was meant to supplement the writings and visions of Daniel. Daniel's writings were meant to prepare the world for the events of the last days, including the miraculous restoration of the entire House of Israel.  This restoration will result in the most incredible miracles ever seen.  These miracles will include the preservation of the Saints, the destruction of the wicked, and the establishment of the New Jerusalem upon the American content. The vision of Ezra's Eagle must therefore be understood as the precursor of things to come, rather than the thing itself!  

Wherefore, for this cause, that my covenants may be fulfilled...I must destroy the secret works of darkness, and of murders, and of abominations... they who are the whore of all the earth; for they who are not for me are against me, saith our God. (2 Nephi 10:15-16)

The events of Ezra's Eagle, are a direct result of the whore of all the earth seeking to overthrow the United States of America - just as the government of the Nephites was overthrown.  This has everything to do with the restoration of the House of Israel. If you do not understand this, you need to read this book in its entirety as you are not ready for what is about to happen.

Since first publishing my interpretation of Ezra's Eagle, interest has turned global.  There are now many books and internet postings that have been written based upon my interpretation. Unfortunately, most of these accounts have divorced the vision from its intended context - making it appear as just another random isolated event. It is not! It is part of a much bigger and important picture that is vital to your preparation.  

Not everyone has welcomed my writings.  The original website where I posted it, was maliciously hacked numerous times a day.  It got to the point that I could not keep the site up for more than a few hours at a time.  I received threatening emails, and blackmail attempts. Then there were the unexpected house calls from the FBI... All this because of Ezra's Eagle, yet this is the least of what is coming!

The greater content of my book, A Remnant Shall Return, of which Ezra's Eagle is but the preface (the second chapter), has changed my life. Because of it, I have met with people, and seen things with my own eyes that defy traditional paradigms of understanding. These events and meetings are so incredible in nature that even if I were free to write about them plainly, few would believe me.  In truth, I can hardly believe it myself.  All I can do is to plead with you to pay the price for your own spiritual education. Everything I have come to know, I learned first in the scriptures. You can learn them for yourself, if you will pay the price for your own education. 

We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. (9th Article of Faith)

Believe!  God will make His mysteries known to you if you seek him in humility and an attitude of repentance. You are in control of your own spiritual education, you cannot outsource it to others!  Time is drawing short, and I am desperate in my desire to convince you to pay that price - Awake! 

The vision of Ezra's Eagle is an incredible beginning to the epic events of the last days. It was only after I understood the incredible nature of the pending restorations of the House of Israel that I was ready to understand the events foretold in Ezra's Eagle.  The vision begins with an eagle rising from the sea, which is used to symbolize a powerful latter-day kingdom, unlike any to have come before it. Consider the following:

Then saw I a dream, and behold, there came up from the sea an eagle, which had twelve feathered wings, and three heads. And I saw, and behold, she spread her wings over all the earth, and all the winds of the air blew on her, and were gathered together. And I beheld, and out of her feathers there grew other contrary feathers; and they became little feathers and small. But her heads were at rest: the head in the midst was greater than the others, yet rested it with the residue. (2 Esdras 11:1-4)

The country Ezra saw represented by an eagle, had power and influence which spanned the globe.  The eagle that he saw was described as having three sleeping heads, with the middle head being larger than the other two. The eagle was described as having twelve normal feathers and others described as being small and contrary, we will learn the significance of these things shortly.

The vision continues:

Moreover, I beheld, and lo, the eagle flew with her feathers, and reigned upon earth, and over them that dwelt therein. And I saw that all things under heaven were subject unto her, and no man spake against her, no, not one creature upon earth. And I beheld, and, lo, the eagle rose upon her talons, and spake to her feathers, saying, Watch not all at once: sleep every one in his own place, and watch by course: But let the heads be preserved for the last. (2 Esdras 11: 5-8)

The description that no man spoke against the eagle, does not mean that everyone agreed conceptually with this nation. Such is never the case with human institutions. Rather, this means that even this nation’s enemies could not deny its preeminence in the world. Doing so would be like saying water was not wet, saying otherwise would just be sour grapes.  Such might rage and slander this nation for any number of reasons, but their very rage would be a testament to its preeminence in the world - as the saying goes, “it is what it is”.

Additionally, we now learn that the feathers of the eagle are to take watch by course. After his vision, Ezra was provided with the following explanation for what this symbolism meant:

Behold, the days will come, that there shall rise up a kingdom upon earth, and it shall be feared above all the kingdoms that were before it. In the same shall twelve kings reign, one after another: And this do the twelve wings signify, which thou sawest. And whereas thou sawest the eight small under feathers…this is the interpretation: that in [the country] there shall arise eight kings, whose times shall be but small, and their years swift. (2 Esdras 12:13-14,16,19-20)

By the angel’s explanation, we understand that this was not a kingdom that was in existence in the day of Ezra, as the angel said, “the days will come, that there shall rise a kingdom…” Furthermore, the angel stated that these wings and feathers, both big and small, represent consecutive national leaders. Furthermore, we are now given the total count of the feathers – twenty; twelve feathers of normal length, and eight small feathers. Normal feathers represent leaders that will serve normal terms in office. Small feathers represent leaders whose administrations would be cut short for unnatural reasons, contrary events, if you will.

Ezra also noted that this country was feared by all others. In the scriptures, the term "fear" can often be interchanged with the term "respect", such as “fearing the Lord”. Therefore, this reference need not mean that all nations cowered in fear of this nation, although despots surely did. Lastly, we learn that the heads of this great eagle do not come in to play until the consecutive administrations of the feathers have ended. The vision continues:

And I beheld, and, lo, the voice went not out of her heads, but from the midst of her body. (2 Esdras 11:10)

This is a curious description. When our internal bodies make audible sounds it is typically from discomfort or distress. The same is true of the eagle in this vision. Consider the following interpretation provided by Ezra's angelic guide: 

As for the voice which thou heardest speak, and that thou sawest not to go out from the heads but from the midst of the body thereof, this is the interpretation: that after the time of that kingdom there shall arise great strivings, and it shall stand in peril of failing: nevertheless it shall not then fall, but shall be restored again to his beginning. (2 Esdras 12:17-18)

The voice coming from the eagle's bowels represents a time of great distress for this country, one that will bring it to the brink of collapse - to dangle by a thread so to speak. This kingdom does not however completely collapse at that time.  After a tremendous struggle, it is restored to its original state.

According to Joseph Smith, the time will come when America will come close to collapsing, but will be restored to its beginning. Consider the following:

The time will come when the destiny of the nation will hang upon a single thread. At that critical juncture, this people will step forth and save it from the threatened destruction. (Brigham Young Journal of Discourses 7:15) 

By the term “this people” Joseph was referring to the House of Israel, of which the Church is a part. The nation that Joseph was talking about was, of course, the United States of America. Joseph Smith and Ezra’s angelic guide are saying exactly the same thing!  The vision continues:

And I looked, and, behold, on the right side there arose one feather, and reigned over all the earth; And so it was, that when it reigned, the end of it came, and the place thereof appeared no more: so the next following stood up and reigned, and had a great time [meaning a long administration]; and it happened, that when it reigned, the end of it came also, like as the first, so that it appeared no more. (2 Esdras 11:12-14)

The description of these consecutive leaders is that they “ruled over all the earth”.  The United States has over a thousand military installations in countries beyond its official borders.  The United States is the only country in the world to have a regular military presence in each of the world’s twenty-four time zones. 

Furthermore, it was through America that China would be opened to the world, that the USSR and the Iron Curtain would fall, that Europe would be twice liberated from fascists, Africa fed, that South America would model its governance, and that world-wide freedom, human rights, and democracy would be promoted, enforced, and protected. From this perspective, there is no question that the United States of America is the world’s de-facto leader. This is why the President of the United States is given the title, “The Leader of the Free World”.

The vision continues:

Then came there a voice unto it [the second leader], and said, Hear thou that hast borne rule over the earth so long: this I say unto thee, before thou beginnest to appear no more [before the end of your official term in office], There shall none after thee attain unto thy time, neither unto the half thereof. (2 Esdras 11:15-17)

This is an astounding requirement! Ezra foresaw that not only would one of the leaders of this country serve twice as long as all others, but that no other leader would attain unto the half of his time. It is worth mentioning that the Webster’s 1828 dictionary defines the word “attain” as exceeding or surpassing. Therefore, applying this to America, no other President would be permitted to exceed more than half of this second leader’s official number of terms in office. 

The longest-serving President in American history is Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR). He was elected to four terms in office.  Alarmed by how many terms he had been elected to, congress passed the 22nd Constitutional Amendment before the end of his fourth official term in office. This prohibited all future Presidents from serving more than two terms. This does not just sound close to what Ezra saw, it sounds identical!  Besides FDR, no other American president served longer than two terms, and now by law, no president can exceed more than half of the terms he obtained. 

The vision continues:

Then arose the third, and reigned as the other before, and appeared no more also. So went it with all the residue one after another, as that every one reigned, and then appeared no more. Then I beheld, and, lo, in process of time the feathers that followed stood up upon the right side, that they might rule also; and some of them ruled, but within a while they appeared no more: for some of them were set up, but ruled not.

After this I looked, and, behold, the twelve feathers appeared no more, nor the two little feathers: And there was no more upon the eagle's body, but three heads that rested, and six little wings (feathers). (2 Esdras 11:18-23)

Fourteen of these feathers are described as having been upon the right side of the eagle – twelve regular feathers, and two small ones.  Therefore, we might assume that the six remaining little feathers are associated with the left side of the eagle. We, therefore, have two groups of feathers, a mix of fourteen feathers on the right, and six small feathers on the left. This physical separation is not a political reference, as there were both democrats and republicans among these 14 presidents. Therefore, I believe that this segregation is a demarcation of time. Something changes after the administration of the 14^th President.

The angel also states that during the process of time, some of the feathers on the right stood up to rule, but did not. In other words, while all fourteen of these leaders served consecutively, some of their administrations were cut short by unnatural means. The angel gives further clarification regarding where the administrations of these two little feathers fall within the total group.

And two of [the little feathers] shall perish, the middle time approaching [the midpoint of the timeline]…( 2 Esdras 12:21)

Ezra states, when we see the premature termination of the second of these two little feathers’ presidencies, we are nearing the timeline's approximate midpoint. In other words, the consecutive reign of the remaining presidents will be only slightly longer than the combined administrations of those including and preceding the second short-feather president just mentioned. 

This vision includes some amazing specificity with regards to national leaders and the timing of their consecutive administrations. To summarize, Ezra saw the consecutive rule of these fourteen leaders, the second of which served twice as many terms as any other, with none after him being able to serve more than half as long as he did, by law. He then foresaw approaching the mid-point of this timeline, the administrations of two of these leaders would be cut short by unnatural (contrary) means.  You will see that this has a shocking correlation with the administration of the 14 former consecutive presidents of the United States of America. 

With the identification of FDR as the second president in this series, it is a simple matter to determine how this group of fourteen US presidents compare to Ezra’s prophecy. The results are truly stunning! The chart below lists these fourteen presidents by name. Their administrations agree perfectly to the strict requirements of Ezra’s vision. I believe that this perfect correlation with Ezra’s vision cannot be coincidental.

The angel said that after the second little feather’s administration was cut short, we would be nearing the approximate midpoint of the timetable. Given this list of consecutive US presidents, the two “little feathers” are readily discernible as John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon. These two were the only presidents in the sequence to have been removed from office due to unnatural or contrary events. To illustrate this midpoint, I have made Nixon's line red.   You will notice the far-right column of this chart is titled “Time”.  From the beginning of President Hoover’s administration to the end of Nixon’s, was forty-five years. As the angel said, Nixon was “approaching” the midpoint, we should have a little more than forty-five years remaining after him to the conclusion. The “Timer” column shows the calculation of time remaining based upon this assumption.

You can see the amazing similarities between this chart and the events predicted by Ezra’s vision some 2,600 years ago. Despite having twenty-two Presidential elections during this period, only fourteen men were elected. The second of which was elected to twice as many terms as any other, and term limits were implemented before the end of his last term. Only two presidents in this series had their administrations cut short by unnatural causes, the last of which occurred half-way through the list. No other nation that I have come across aligns as perfectly, or even remotely close to this.

I want to highlight how significant this is. Consider this illustration: Since the founding of our country, up to the point described in this timeline, Americans had voted for presidents, fifty-seven different times. As a result of those fifty-seven elections, there were forty-three presidents. For illustration purposes, assume that I had two identical bags of fifty-seven jellybeans, assume each bean represents the results of a presidential election. Assume that I selected twenty-two jellybeans from my bag and laid them out in a row and covered them so that you could not see them, nor did I explain what the jellybeans represented. What would be the likelihood that someone else would be able to randomly match my pattern of twenty-two jellybeans in order?

The answer is one in 3.9 undecillion. This number is so large you have probably never heard of it.  It is thirty-nine with thirty-five zeros after it. It is more than double the number of grains of sand on planet Earth! Your odds of winning the lottery is over a quadrillion times greater than this!  Yet, amazingly, Ezra’s vision placed these presidential jellybeans in their proper order over 2,000 years, before the founding of our country! Furthermore, he did so using an eagle - the basis for both the national emblem and the presidential seal of the United States of America.  I hope that this gives you cause to pause and ponder!

For this reason, and others, I am convinced that Ezra’s vision pertains to America, and is being fulfilled right before our eyes! Not only this, but this vision appears to be counting down to a major event that will take place in our day! President Obama was the last president in this series; therefore, the events Ezra sees next will happen to President Trump. The vision continues:

Ezra saw that two of the six little feathers on the right side of the eagle would break away and align themselves with the head of the eagle. This symbolism is obviously significant. Thankfully, the angel provided an explanation as to what this symbolism means:

And whereas thou sawest the eight small under feathers sticking to her wings, this is the interpretation: That in him [the eagle] there shall arise eight kings, whose times shall be but small, and their years swift. And two of them shall perish, the middle time approaching: four shall be kept until their end begin to approach: but two shall be kept unto the end.  (2 Esdras 12:19-21)

From this explanation, we learn that just as two of the eight little feathers would administer towards the middle of the timeline, four would administer near the end of it, and two would be reserved until the very end. By “the end” we are to understand the end of the pre-millennial world as we know it. These two little feathers commence their joint ministration after the end of the consecutive reign of the three heads of the eagle. The identity of these last two feathers will become clearer through the remainder of this book. The vision now turns to the administration of the President Trump to succeed President Obama - President Donald J. Trump:

• Agenda driven media coverage - According to multiple studies, President Trump’s press coverage has been over 90% negative. According to the Pew Research Center, President Obama’s news coverage was only 20% negative, with President Bush and Clintons’ coverage both coming in at 28% negative. For some reason, we are meant to hate this President. Is it working?
• Seditious actions of subordinates - In an unheard-of display of insubordination, Trump’s White House has been plagued with covert enemies that have leaked sensitive information, opposed the President’s agenda, and promoted an intentional look, and feel, of chaos and dysfunction, within his administration. Indeed, we have learned that both the FBI and CIA colluded to formulate multiple “insurance plans” to ensure that President Trump would not remain in office long. Had this occurred in any other administration, people would have been arrested for treason.
• Fabrication of the Russian collusion narrative - The infamous and fallacious Steele Dossier was created and promoted by defunct intelligence sources as a political weapon to eliminate President Trump. The document has direct ties to Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee, who combined paid more than $7 million in “legal and research fees” for its creation.
• Unlawful surveillance by the previous administration - The Obama Administration used the fallacious Steele Dossier, knowing that it was unverified, to obtain illegal FISA warrants to spy on the campaign of President Trump. This is essentially the same thing that Richard Nixon resigned over. Nobody has been yet been held accountable.
• Robert Muller’s special investigation - Robert Muller’s investigation was based upon information that was known to be false by those that perpetrated it. Its purpose was to enable Trump’s political enemies to use the full resources of the US Government to dig up dirt that would hopefully result in the President’s impeachment. In the end, the investigation could not demonstrate that Trump had colluded with Russia in any impeachable manner.
• Congressional impeachment in Dec. 2019 - Nancy Pelosi’s House of Representatives brought two formal charges of impeachment against the President after conducting an infamously partisan investigation. Republicans were not allowed the same liberties of questioning the witnesses as the Democrats and sometimes were not invited to meet with the witnesses at all. The two charges of impeachment were Obstruction of Congress, and Abuse of Power. Both charges rested on the fact that President Trump asked Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden’s involvement in Burisma – a notoriously corrupt oil and gas company.  Despite numerous red flags, the media has given the whole affair - as it pertains to Biden's actions, a tepid pass.  
• Covid-19 "Pandemic" - Certain agencies throughout the government moved to close businesses across the country and implement a forced quarantine. This sparked the worst unemployment situation since the Great Depression. The rationale was to save lives.  However, the classification of deaths as Covid-19 has been used as a weapon to destroy the Trump economy.  This scare tactic worked because the news outlets only reported inflated Covid-19 death numbers, not the fact that the total death rate remained in line with prior (Covid-19 free) years. The following chart summarizes the CDC’s weekly death count through June in the US for the last three years.[iii]

• Election fraud - As part of the Covid-19 economic stimulus package, Nancy Pelosi proposed giving states $4 billion to facilitate a transition to vote-by-mail. This was of course to avoid the spread of this desolating sickness, all facts to the contrary. Her proposal was openly opposed by Trump as a backdoor to election fraud. Many of the battleground states were determined by razor-thin margins. Voter fraud is a real risk.  The primary risk stems from the lack of internal controls over voter registration lists. Due to recent lawsuits, many voter registration lists have been proven to contain thousands of deceased voters, felons, and non-citizens. Nothing stops these "ghost" ballots from being used to skew results in battleground states. Indeed, in Pennsylvania, a key battleground state, one person voted by mail seven times in the same election![iv]
• Manufactured racial hatred - The media is constantly painting the President as a racist. The President once called MS-13 gang members "animals" and "rapists" for their vicious sexual and violent machete attacks on innocent people. The media twisted Trump’s reference to MS-13 members to a general reference to ALL immigrants. Furthermore, engineered race riots are being coordinated and executed to maximize social unrest.  One such riot erupted outside the White House, forcing the President to evacuate to his Presidential bunker – which he was mocked in the media for doing.

We are now seeing all the signs of the national distress symbolized by the voice coming forth from the midst of the eagle. These consist of socially engineered chaos, such as bus loads of agitators arriving in chartered vehicles,  mysterious pallets of bricks, and water being delivered at riot sites, movements to defund the police, and wildly biased accounts of it all from the mainstream media. Who is coordinating this social unrest?  Someone is working the billows – blowing life into the burning hatred that is raging in the hearts of the rising generation. Who is behind it?

This is an excellent question, and the answer to this question is embedded within the identity of the feathers of Ezra's Eagle.  Why did Ezra's list of feathers start where it did?   Why not start the list with Washington or Lincoln? In order to understand Ezra's reasoning we must turn to a modern Ezra for clarification.

In the April 1972 general conference, Ezra Taft Benson invited all members of the church to read a book titled, None Dare Call It Conspiracy. It is worth reminding the reader that Ezra T. Benson served in President Eisenhower's cabinet while he was an ordained Apostle for eight years.  He was therefore very familiar with Washington. The book he recommended speaks of the rise of a secret organization that has been the dominate force shaping policy in Washington since it's creations. This organization's name is the Council on Foreign Relations and its founding members are shown in the image below, note the second name in the series.

Today the formal membership of the Council on Foreign Relations is composed of hundreds of the most elite names in government, business, finance, media, and education.  It has staffed the vast majority of key cabinet positions in every administration since its inception. Its members held up the government's three letter agencies as well.  This patterned continued into the administration of President Trump.  However, unlike every President in the list before him, Trump began to actively purge these people from their positions of power.   

Trump's resistance has made him an terrible threat to this group's agenda, and has resulted in the numerous attempts to remove him from office that have been noted above.  Still, most American have never heard of the CFR.  Those that have, and try to speak out about it are immediately debunked as quack conspiracy theorists and ridiculed. Yet, this group it is at the heart of America's secret combinations - it is the head of the snake...
